Geeze it felt the weekend would never come. Does anyone else feel like the summer is going by way too fast? Every moment I sit at my computer typing this post is a valuable moment that I could be doing stuff with friends. I’ll be able to make posts every day down at college. Why waste it on posts now?
Maybe I’m thinking about this college thing a little wrong. I shouldn’t be nervous entering a new life like this I should embrace it with open arms.
Yesterday was an interesting day. I was serving breakfast at work & noticed that an old family friend of ours wasn’t there. I talked to him every day I worked on the upper level. I found out later that day that he died of heart failure on Wednesday. I
really wasn’t sad oddly enough because he was in pain & he’s in a better place.
My roommate is in Australia right now so we haven’t gotten to talk but he sounds awesome nonetheless. He’s tidy and he’s into warhammer & stuff so it’ll be easy to get him hooked on Magic (Mwhahahaha). I think Purdue will be a lot more fun than I first thought. It sounds pretty sweet when I think about all of the different kinds of clubs that I can get involved in. Hopefully I’ll find a good youth group down there.
Can you believe that with all of the planning that we’ve made we still haven’t done anything really memorable (other than all of the parties) yet this summer. I mean we really should just go drive down to some water park or Cedar Point one of these days. It sucks that I’m going to have to miss the fabled camping trip but at least I’ll still go canoeing this summer. Well sorry for the nearly pointless post Au Revior.
